Improving Authenticity and Transparency for Pages and Instagram Accounts

In June, we introduced a new “Info & Ads” section on Pages to give people more context about the Pages and ads they see on Facebook.

We will soon begin to show additional information within Info & Ads, including a “Page History” section that shows when a Page has merged with another Page, and a “People Who Manage This Page” section which will surface the primary country locations the Page is managed from.

Additionally, to make it harder for fake accounts to reach people on our platform, we have also begun requiring people who manage some Pages with large U.S. audiences on Facebook to complete an authorization process.

In the coming weeks, Instagram will introduce similar features to allow people to see more information about accounts with large audiences.

We recently launched a self-serve version of Brand Lift into our Test and Learn interface in Ads Manager.

Test and Learn enables you to easily set up and run brand lift studies yourself, and is available for qualifying advertisers that meet a minimum campaign spend.

Brand lift studies run through Test and Learn are well-powered, and enable you to understand and quickly take action on brand insights.

 Updates to Lead Ads: Additional Objectives & Updated Reporting

We’ve expanded availability for lead ad contact forms to three new objectives (brand awareness, reach and traffic), and have introduced new reporting features and tracking updates.

These provide new ways to capture customer interest early, and understand which channels brought in high intent customers — two key aspects of running a successful campaign.
